HIS WORDS
I drove many nails when I was a youth,
Then they were driven through me
Because I spoke the truth.
What I had said, not all wanted to hear,
Because the unknown, holds a strange kind of fear,
Man never will know what I am saying,
Until they mingle My Words with intensive praying.
My blood flowed profusely to cleanse each man of sin
All who refuse this cannot possibly win.
The prize is well worth it, it’s eternal salvation,
I offer it to all in each and every nation.
To suffer, and then die was not my greatest care,
It’s when my father turned away that was so hard to bear.
My resurrection was a victory that man had waited for
It’s what I had but prophesied that opened up the door.
Tear this Temple down I said; I’ll rebuilt it in three days,
My father knew what lay ahead for all who follow my ways.
I had trod this earth for you as none have ever done
And all I ask, is you believe, that I’m God’s risen Son!
