His Command

If you love Me, you'll obey what I command.
So if I love You dear Lord, on Your Words, I must stand.
Without compromise, I must walk by Your way,
And to show You my love, on Your path, I will stay.
Your orders are simple, Your Words are few,
I won't go astray, if I listen, to You.
You say feed the hungry, and give drink, to those who thirst,
Provide for the homeless, but put clothes upon them first;
Then visit the sick, and to the prisons, you should go,
But be honest in your actions, let them not, be just for show.
My summation is quite short;
Be forgiving, true and lowly,
And obey, My all encompassing command,
For it's what pleases Me--
"Be Ye Holy!"
